Why do all dream dictionaries have different interpretations?
So the question is which one is the right one?
Answer by WILLIAM
They are not dream dictionaries but are guess-anairies. As Mama use to say ‘Take them with a grain of salt.’
Answer by eyeshout – dream interpretation
You cant rely on a dictionary, instead why not talk about your dreams. We are a community based dream interpretation website.
We don’t have the answers but are open to discuss what they “could” mean.
Its more about what they mean to you.

Certain dream images are universal, but most of the dream dictionaries are based on possible interpretations. Dream symbology is highly subjective. Just remember that your dreams are all about you (one of the few times where we get to be really selfish), therefore dream symbols must be significant to you. The dream dictionaries can still be a helpful starting off point, even if it is just rejecting an interpretation.

What do you think about my dream that I had? Have you had a strange dream?
I dreamed that I had a large aquarium with a few small fish. I had forgotten to feed them for quite some time and went to sprinkle fish flakes on the water. I opened the lid of the aquarium and saw several huge snakes – varying colors – mostly black – like anacondas (sp?) and realized that things had gone wild in there. I think that the dream resulted from my feeling overwhelmed in life, that too much is going on.

This is what I believe: the fish in the water is you at peace. You forgetting to feed them is you worrying about “too much going on” You are too busy with other things that worry you, that you are forgetting the important things in life. The snakes represent bad things in your life, like sin for example. Worrying too much is a sin too. God says in His word (the bible) that we have nothing to worry about, He takes care of us, just believe in your heart. Pray and ask God for help and guidance. And before you go to bed, give your troubles to God, He will be up all night anyway. Best wishes 🙂

That is a weird dream. I had a dream the other night that i was walking around with my friends, and we found a giant bullfrog, like the size of a cat. And we had to take it with us, so i carried it but it kept biting me and it had these super sharp teeth. Like, i was bleeding everywhere but it kept biting me. I pretended like nothing was wrong so i just kept walking with it. Idk what to make of that lol.

My Cousins and my Uncle came to visit me one day. One cousin told me my Dad will come around(my dad & I aren’t getting along right now-not my fault) That same night I dreamed that it was 1 week or less before Christmas & that my family made up. I didn’t have any presents or Christmas of any sort ready. I called up my girlfriend in a panic & told Her. This is all I can remember from my dream.

According to Sandra Thompson’s ‘A Dreamer’s Dictionary’, dreaming of snakes can signal a healing dream. They symbolise kundalini energy, which originates at the base of the spine and rises through chakras (energy centres) to culminate in wisdom and a higher state of consciousness.
Connecting snakes with water in a dream can sometimes represent feminine attributes, especially the ability to move/glide through life easily/gracefully.
Dreaming of water represents the flow of life energy and/or fertility. Negatively, it can represent chaos and illusion.
Hope this helps you. I find this book very good with me, and usually it’s pretty spot on about my life and emotions at the time.
