What is the October taurus horoscope in seventeen magazine?
I read it early this month and i think it actually came true! But i can’t remember the days it said, so i was just curious. Thank you so much to anyone who can tell me 🙂

First you need to understand that you are NOT the sum total of your sun sign!
newspaper and magazine astrology is nothing related to the proper astrology that Astrologers use, this is just a pinch of salt entertainment sort. What they do is put each sun sign conjunct the Ascendant and read where the 10 planets fall in any one of the 12 houses. So when you have got your free chart from astro.com you will know your Ascendant sign, then if you want use this type of recreational fun, then you would look up your Ascendant sign to stand any kind of chance of having those planets in the right houses for you…. If you cannot get past this idea of JUST sun signs, you will always stay in kindergarden.
Why not go to astro and get your free chart, then use their interactive model to get an explanation, then go to cafeastrology and do the same, but do *not* use their charts as they inferior. Then read about my background from my homepage here. Of course astro does offer a free six month transit report if you were not aware of this.
If you cannot get past this idea of JUST sun signs, you will always stay in kindergarden. perhaps if you learn more some of the basics in astrology then with your future questions this should help you ask more poignant questions, for your own evolution
This slide shows the meanings of the planets
this slide shows the house meanings, natural house rulers and notice the compass points are reversed? this is not a mistake

How are people able to calculate your horoscope reading?
Is it by the planets, stars? Or what? Im confused.
For example, how do they tell that you are “in a romantic mood” or whatever for that day or week?
Answer by gettin through life
i think its mostly about what positions the planets are in?

They are based on the transits of planets through the sky and how they affect the planets in your chart. Or in the case of the newspaper or magazines, how they affect the sun in each sign. When you have an individual chart done based solely on your time and place of birth, and then compare the transits to that, the horoscope is very specific. The published ones you read en mass are just too general to be meaningful.
