I don’t know. I had a friend that is a virgin, dream that she got pregnant and didn’t know how. I looked up it’s definition. For a virgin to dream of being pregnant meant scandal and adversity. It actually happened to her. Though I can’t say all those things from the dictionary are true. Though a lot of them do happen.

The snake is a symbol of inner power. Dreaming of a snake or snakes and being scared of it is pointing towards your fear of your inner power and who you truly are. To be biten by a snake in a dream is a sign of initation…it’s as if the person although scared is willing to look within and to take a chance. To dream of watching a snake shedding it’s skin is representative again of oneself and symbolic of a transformation going on inside of them.
In my “dream experience” the snake dreams were always talking about my spirituality.
Lonigan, it might be helpful for you to re-read the bible and the story of the snake with Adam and Eve. The snake never lied.

I really believe that these dream dictionaries are not going to give you insight to your dream. Every dream is a mixture of your own thoughts put into symbols. These symbols can be different for each person.
Example I happen to like snakes, and find them interesting. So if this is my feelings for snakes, I doubt I would find one in a dream meaning something negative. Yet someone terrified of snakes, would probably have it as a negative dream.
The only way you could find your dreams meanings, is to ask yourself what does a snake mean to me? Am I afraid of them? am I intrigued by them? then connect the other part of the dream with your feelings of snakes and you will figure out what your subconsious is trying to say.
