What does a dream about putting knives down mean?
in my dream i put a ton of knives i took out of my pocket, like kitchen knives, and put them down. dream dictionary says knives mean an emotional connection with something. my long time friend that i haven’t seen in forever was in it, and he was killed (i think, i didn’t see it). what does it mean?

Well if your friend was killed in the beginning and you’re putting the knives down, then it means you want to start again and make peace, and not get involved with ‘violence’ again. This is a good sign since you can start anew without feeling bad about yourself. =)

What does it mean when you dream of a cat and her kittens?
I’ve looked up the appearance of cats and kittens in dream dictionaries, and they all say that cats mean misfortunate and trouble ahead. But what does it mean when you see a cat with her kittens in a dream? They were in a stone parking lot, a few yards away from me, and didn’t seem to notice me too much. It was a quick dream, and that’s really all I remember from it.

You are reading all, outdated and sexist meanings on cats!!!! Cats are symbolic of the female, intuitive and creative energy. I think it is a positive dream about abundance and good luck coming your way.

It could mean that you feel that your troubles are multiplying. On http://www.matchadream.com it says that “Seeing a white kitten in your dream means deceit and trouble. Seeing non-white or soiled kittens, indicates trouble ahead for you”. So perhaps you have one big problem in your life or you see it coming (represented by the cat), and this big problem or piece of trouble will then give birth to many more, but smaller problems (the kittens).
