I have to write horoscopes for vocabulary homework?
I have to use 20 of my vocabulary words to write a newspaper article and a suggestion is horoscopes… First of all, i don’t even know what they are.. some words include lucid, insignificant, photogenic, and hemophilia… how would i write a horoscope using those words?

Look up some horoscopes and you will find that they can ‘predict’ illnesses like hemophilia or that some one will develop a photogenic face, or be forced into an insignificant position if she doesn’t pay another $ 100 dollars to the fortune teller.
You’ve got it made. Be as ridiculous as you like. believe me , you will just be mimicking the fortune tellers. Go for it and enjoy it !

Do you believe in compatibility horoscopes?
I’m a pieces and my boyfriend is a leo…

We are almost opposite attract, but I love him. I ever felt this way about anyone before. We have talked about marriage and kids and its just a Breath of Fresh Air when Im with him..

However, Im reading all this stuff and their saying that a Pieces women and a Leo Man are not compatible…. Should I believe any of this or should I just follow my heart! and hope all the stuff isn’t true.. He doest believe in horoscopes.

to an extent i do believe the compatability.. b/c its true about the chemistry between scorps/pisces etc… but it takes work to make it happen.

but there’s more to a relationship than just astrology. there are the physical attraction, conversations, how you guys were raised, religious beliefs, families….

There’s more to it than just your sun signs. True Leo and Pisces is not a compatible match, but that is just going off sun signs alone. You have to look at your whole chart to determine your compatibility, you have your moon, venus and risings signs to take into consideration as well as other aspects in your chart. Don’t go strictly off sun signs and remember when used properly astrology is helpful, don’t go to extremes when dealing with it. It shouldn’t rule your life, you rule your life!
There are a lot of free websites that offer compatibility charts, the most accurate ones are those that use your time and place of birth.

Found this a few years ago, use it a lot.

From Eric Idle’s (of Monty Python fame) book “Around the States in Eighty Days”

sun sign compitability is bs, u cant judge a relationship by just sun signs.
& also for another reason, i’ll give u an example, suppose that there’s a libra sun person who’s in love with a leo sun person & he/she checked the compatability between the 2 signs & found it good.
this doesn’t have to fit on those two, specially for example if the libra person has sun in 29 deg for example & the leo person has sun in 1 deg. Now, this is a square, but they dont calculate it like that in compatibility horscope.

& for compatibilty between charts, i dare anyone could find a synastry with all bad aspects, or all good aspects.
every synastry will have positive & negative potential, that’s why it’s more accurate & logical than sun sign compatibility
