horoscopes: why are daily horoscopes in newspaper contradict each other?
can’t say I believe in them, but sometimes at the end of the day, I read some newspaper horoscope section, and I find, one of them saying exactly what happen to me that day, the other one saying some b/s

Often, horoscopes in newspapers are people who don’t know a thing about astrology who are just spouting off some general nonsense in hopes that the sheep of society will buy it.
Astrology done the right way is done by looking at where planets are in the sky in reference to your sign, using what those planets represent to determine the energies in your everyday life.
Not everyone’s cup of tea, but for some people who believe in a truth to these things it’s fascinating.
I personally believe from personal observations that there’s..something to it, an element of truth.

For the most part, horoscopes are BS.
If you want to find some good, detailed, relational horoscopes, go to either:

or
http://www.astro.com/cgi/hk.cgi
Cafe Astrology has good horoscopes that actually relate to the planetary aspects and the moment (such as the full moon in Capricorn) and how it relates to each sign and has a general horoscope for every sign, and they also tell you to look at your Ascendant (rising) sign as well.
Astrodienst gives you a personal daily horoscope when you enter your birth date, so it will relate to you on a more personal level.

Congratulations, you have found what is the ultimate disproof of astrology. It’s lack of consistency and contradictions.
Now think about how astrology is a fate of birth discrimination, akin to racism and sexism. No one chooses when to be born and there is no evidence for the stereotyping astrology must make. Certainly it can’t predict the future with accuracy.
“Aquarius is a miscellaneous set of stars all at different distances from us, which have no connection with each other except that they constitute a (meaningless) pattern when seen from a certain (not particularly special) place in the galaxy (here).’

I don’t read or pay attention to horoscopes in the newspaper. There are all types of Horoscopes, not all astrologers can predict the same horoscope. Go with the one you think is true. That’s all I can say.
What do you think? Answer below!
What are horoscopes considered in the Newspaper?
I am doing a project and I was unable to finish my notes so if anyone would be kind enough to tell me what they are I’ve narrowed it down to an AP (Assosiated Press), a Syndicated column, an Editorial. I’m not a 100% sure on what these are so if you would be kind enough to tell me the definition of these I would be very greatful.

Well, first, here are the definitions:
Associated Press – a news service that writes articles that can then be reprinted by any of its subscribing newspapers. News and photos from AP are generally described as coming “off the wire.”
Syndicated Column – a column written by one person that is run in several different newspapers.
Editorial – An opinion piece written by newspaper staff that represents the officially agreed-upon stance taken by that paper. (The op-eds, short for “opposite editorials”, that generally appear on the next page are written by guest writers or columnists.)
Having those definitions, I think you can figure out that a horoscope is usually a syndicated column (several papers will run a horoscope written by one person). I hope this is helpful!
