What can dreaming of a co workers dead baby mean?
In my dream my co workers brand new baby was dead. For some reason we were in Italy coming to visit her and that’s how we found out. All I could see was a picture of the baby not the body and when I was consoling her and thinking about my own personal miscarriages I was holding on to her and walking but also she was next to me unemotional. The next part of my dream was my ex boyfriend who has returned to my life recently come around the corner at my job very late for breakfast. Any idea?

How come when I dream sometimes, I know when I am dreaming?
I dream every night in colour and sometimes, in my dreams, I tell myself that its a dream and that I can do anything like flying which I do, why is this? Also I dreampt a dream awhile back in a sepia colour about an area where I used to live but the dream was in the begining of the 1900’s.When I looked at the history online about the area, I was suprised to find I was right. Are my dreams trying to tell me something?

It is possible to control dreams; however, that can only happen during the lightest form of sleep (the few times I’ve been able to control my dreams or know I am dreaming, I wake up within a few minutes of it.) As towards the dream in sepia, perhaps you had heard something about the area you lived in before and it settled into your subconscious.

When you know you’re dreaming, it’s called a lucid dream:
It’s the first step in a process where you can control your dreams (for example, you’ve learned to fly). I’ve been a lucid dreamer for about twelve years. My method is that when I realize I’m dreaming, I tell myself I have “magic powers” (so that my brain doesn’t go “this is silly, you can’t fly”) and I can do all sorts of things. Flying was first, then I learned to levitate (fly vertically), levitate objects, laminate doors, shoot scary things with my fingers, etc.
Dreaming in black and white or sepia doesn’t happen to me as often. I take them as more important than normal dreams, because they stand out so much.
When you dream, you’re focused on the dream itself, and it’s my belief that your brain is in “full power” and can calculate or remember amazing things.
For example, the other night I had a dream I was 53.6 miles from my house, and I somehow knew that would take me about 18 hours to walk home. Sure enough, made a Google map and it would take about 18 hours to walk 53.6 miles.
And yes, your dreams often try to tell you things. Pick up a dream dictionary, creative dreaming book, or “dreamwork” book to learn more. It’s an excellent thing to explore.
Also, it sounds geeky, but try keeping a dream journal. It’s helped me have more creative dreams, which leads to more “magic powers” in lucid dreams. =D
