In astrology, What houses are associated with intuition/spirituality & learning about the unknown?
I know pluto & scorpio deals with digging to the depths and finding out the unknown. But what house would also be related?
And I know neptune & pisces is associated with intuition
What aspects would make these positions stronger?
Also what placements (houses/planets and aspects) would cause someone to be naturally intelligent?
Any additional info on the topic would be appreciated 🙂

Yup you are right 🙂
So strong 8th and 12th house, planets in water signs and strong Neptune and Pluto in the chart.
Naturally Intelligent ~ strong Mercury. Mercury in aspect to Sun,Jupiter,Uranus or Pluto,Mercury in the 1st,3rd or 9th house.

the 8th and 12 houses deal with these issues. The 9th house is also involved with spirituality and learning. Uranus, Neptune or pluto being in the 9th house or ruling the 9th can produce a highly intuitive and spiritual person and a need to lean about the unknown.
Natural intelligence is the 9th and 12th house domain. Aspects from personal planets to jupiter, Uranus or Neptune also produce natural intelligence. The 9th house is what we teach and how people learn from us, it also has to do with with self educating oneself. The 12th house is intuition and subconcious, knowledge stored from karmic means or past lives. Its basically our instincts.
Mercury in pisces is usually underestimated, but its really an intelligent placement for mercury. It deals with spirituality and the imagination. Turning thoughts into feelings or feelings into thoughts. Mercury in hard aspect to Neptune is also about this. Mercury in aquarius, its exalted position is a good placement for natural intelligence. This mercury can be cosmic.
Gemini deals with what we learn. Virgo is how we use that knowlege. Sagittarius is what we teach or aquire through higher means such as religion or college. Pisces deals with instinctive knowlge or what is learned hereditary or karmic.

Your psychic houses are 4, 8, and 12. Jupiter and Neptune rules intuition, follow by the moon via sensitivity. The aspect of septile 52 degrees can often be associated with intuition, or an “aha” moment. The vigitile aspect 18 degrees, can bring about natural talents, this is seen in many psychics, but also artistic ability, and sometimes, if mars is involved mechanical ability. Jupiter and Neptune in their natural houses that being 9th and 12 respectfully, and or Jupiter in the 12th. The Moon in cancer, as well as taurus are known to be sensitive. Interesting enough I have a large research data base, and one of the common signs for mediums are Librians, and Taurus. And the old cliche’ all mediums are psychic comes to mind. The venus influence in mediumship is strong. Yet, I have found this concept nowhere in books. The number of charts associated with this find is about 300. Which is not a good study as of yet, still collecting data with this one.
As for intelligence, that too is an interest for me as I have a son who is a Genius. I have collected only 80 charts from the mensa group, and as of yet, the only thing I have found to come close to a common ground is a soft aspect between mercury and pluto. History shows lots of inventors with a Uranus well place, but again that does not mean that their IQ is exceptional.
Generally speaking astrology does not show well the concept of IQ. Yet, it can show how one process information, and that is through the moon. Look for the travel speed of the moon. A fast moon, which declination motion is more than 13 degrees 10 minutes, shows one who will notice many unrelated details. A slow moon, which declination motion is less than 13degrees10minutes, shows one who is focused on a singularity, and all aspects of that singularity.
The mensa charts that I have, out of that group 46 have a slow moon. So, that hardly counts for intelligence, as that is almost equal between the two moon speeds, and we know in order to belong to this group, there is an IQ test involved.
Good question, as I have been watching these two topics for many years.
Let’s strive for good astrology!

Drops, asked this very question a few days ago…
natural intelligence again can be lots of things my first approach would be
1)exalted mercury in Virgo,
2)mercury angular espec 10th.
3) mercury aspected to personal planets
4) mercury aligned with outers causes problems eg: mercury/pluto is good for digging and delving but can give acid tongue or verbal lacerations. Mercury/neptune good for creative writing, vivid imagination, day dreaming and deception. mercury/uranus could be arguementative, maths expert, even sciences. Mercury/saturn shows a lack of confidence in communications, so good for studying
basic natal aspects
again then, actually there can be a ‘multitude’ of things in a natal chart to describe intuition, psychic awareness.
1) all water signs
2) planets in water houses ie: 4,8,12 this could give them accidental dignity depending on planet
3) neptune angular ie: 1,7,10
4) neptune aspecting personal planets espec sun, moon. mercury
5) planets aspecting each other from 8th – 12th are very psychic
6) scorpio sun, moon Asc is very intuitive/psychic
7)Pluto aspecting personal planets ie: sun, moon, Asc and mercury
8) planets in 4th aspecting planets in12th and 8th. This would form a grand trine
9) and water grand trine, water minor grand trine, kite, T Square with planets in water signs OR planets in water houses.
I’m sure given time I could come up with more, but this will do for now..
First you need to understand you are not the sum total of your sun sign. There are 10planets in a natal chart and they can be in any one of 12 houses….
Next, mercury can only be upto one sign away from your sun sign and venus can only be upto two signs away.
Planets are modified by signs, where they express are houses and how they express are *aspects.* the aspects are simply mathematical matters, which one planet makes to another. think back to your school days, when an opposition = 180′ and a square =90′ a trine =120′ and these aspects are ‘facets of your personality’
You can get an immediate chart interpretation from astro.com. From ‘free horoscopes tab look for free ‘personal portrait’ or ‘astroclick portrait’ interpretation of a natal chart in the free horoscope section, you simply put the cursor on a planet and it brings a pop up box to explain what it means to have a planet in that house and any other aspects it has to natal planets. plus a six month free transit report in ‘short report’ Robert Hand gives a valuable in depth explanation of transits here – only slight objection I have with astro, is they use orbs of upto maybe 10′ approaching, exact and departing. So most transits seem very long in effect. I use more realistic orbs of 1′ approaching, 1′ exact and 1′ departing.
Now basically your sun sign is your ‘core beliefs, values, ego’ and Asc is your physical body, mode of expression and mask and persona that we all wear and hide behind, but definitely not what’s going on underneath. What’s going on underneath is your Sun sign. Moon sign, house placements and aspects describe your emotional and intuitive responses, also describes your view of your mother, as saturn describes your father by sign and house position.
So, think of a glass milk bottle the bottle is your Asc and your sun the milk, but the milk still has to ‘come out’ through the glass neck of the milk bottle….
Now aspects within a natal chart represent ‘facets’ of our personality, because we are all multifaceted beings. What these do is ‘break down and compartmentalise’ these facets into smaller bite size chunks. This does take quite a lot of self analysis and objectivity to ‘see yourself’ and why you do certain things and behave in certain ways. Actually it can be quite good therapy…
Remember back to your school days and maths class, an opposition is 180′, square 90′, trine 120′, and sextile 60′ Now challenged aspects are conj (depending on the planets, cos some like each other and some really don’t) squares and oppositions. Easy aspects are conj (if the planets get along) eg: Jupiter conj Moon, sextile and trine. Quincunx is inbetween (depending on the planets) causes health strains and unresolved or hard to balance planets/energies.
all about moons
basic natal aspects

Can someone give me something at least semi-legit on the zodiac change thing?
Like something on the news and not just something you read on some website you’ve never heard of, or from a friend on facebook? Until then I am still a Scorpio.
Answer by Seusa
Here is an excellent link to something which puts the change into proper perspective:
You stick with Scorpio. I would be Ophiucus (the 13th sign) if I decided to buy into the shift interpretation; but I don’t, so I remain a Sagittarius.
It only applies to sidereal Astrology anyway……if you live in the western hemisphere, you probably follow tropical Astrology which is not effected.
