how to interpret dreams?
please tell me……. how can i interpret my dream the easiest way??
Answer by Josh
www.dreammoods.com has a GREAT interpreter. Write your dream down and pick out any key themes such as blood, a table, substance. Ask yourself these questions:
What are the significant images or symbols in your dream?
Where was the dream located?
How did the dream make you feel? What was your mood when you first woke up from the dream?
How does your dream parallel a situation or experience in your waking life?
Once you have the key themes, try to find out what they mean to you or type them into an interpreter. Good Luck!!!

I would go to www.chapters.com, or www.barnesandnoble.com or to the local library and get a book on the subject. There are some really great books that can break down all of the components of your dreams.

A dream is a story you tell yourself, about yourself. The first thing you need to do, is write the dream down in as much detail as possible, who, what, where, when, how, and why. Interpretations of specific symbols vary from person to person, and culture to culture. A dream dictionary can give you ideas to think about, but that is only one person’s opinion, based on thier own experience. You have your own unique dream vocabulary, which you need to determine through study and free association. Dream symbols have universal associations in the collective unconscious, but we all have individual meanings that need to be taken in to account as well. For example, a dream dictionary might consider an airplane to be a symbol of intelllectual freedom. But someone who took a plane to las vegas to get married might think it means a celebration. Someone who lost a family member in 9/11 might view an airplane as a symbol of death. So don’t take a dream dictionary symbol as set in stone, it is not. Looking up individual symbols leads you nowhere really, it is how the symbols interact with each other in the dream, and the overall tone of the dream that gives the interpretation….

First you write down your dreams, detail by detail
and look at each item, and every one of them plays significance in your life. Any item can be a clue of why you subconscious mind projects it.
Then look at the whole picture and compare with your background, daily experience, and you will know what it means.

…. pray about it. don’t obsess over it. the answer will come.
** What you should do, is also look up what different symbols mean in dreams…… there is a language of dreams; and certain symbols do signify certain things…
BUT….. not every symbol means the same in every persons dream. We are all different and all unique.
so, even though there’s a basic blueprint to what symbols mean…. they arent always accurate.
There will be a HUGE difference in the interpretation of your dream based on your spiritual beliefs as well…. as symbollism in dreams are as unique as we are, and if you are a religious person, (despite the religion) the symbollism of a certain object in your dream may have a different connotation then what that same symbol may mean to someone non religious (as assingned in a psychology testbook).
As example…… The colour green…… symbollises Life, growth, jealousy etc etc etc…. if 10 people dream of being green…. the symbollism and interpretation WILL NOT be the same for all 10 of them.
Your dreams are as unique as you are.
