How do we convince people that astrology is not witchcraft?
I could go on but I need to feel okay that I like astrology. I get called “White Witch” because I do.

Even in the bible the Jews were reading the stars, the stars tell the future

Turn off your computer. Stand up. Walk away from your computer. Lie down. Don’t get back up.

I just call you people morons, there’s nothing magical about it so I see no reason for the term, “witch”. Astrology is a child’s fantasy, nothing factual or scientific about it…

How can we convince people not to believe in astrology, because it’s ridiculous.
Answer by Ashlesha
By lifting a cup with the power of our mind and pouring the content out on their heads.
Tell them they’d better beware ’cause otherwise you’d set them on fire.
Edit: Actually, following the origin of the word ‘witchcraft’ back to ‘witch’ we inevitably end up with the origin of the word ‘magic’:
late 14c., “art of influencing events and producing marvels,” from O.Fr. magique, from L. magice “sorcery, magic,” from Gk. magike (presumably with tekhne “art”), fem. of magikos “magical,” from magos “one of the members of the learned and priestly class,” from O.Pers. magush, possibly from PIE *magh-
“one of the members of the learned and priestly class,” doesn’t sound bad to me at all.

How well do a Sagittarius and Capricorn match up?
For someone who knows more about astrology than I…Just wondering for curiosity’s sake if mine and my boyfriend’s signs mesh well together.

Relationships in astrology are not based just on sun signs. In your chart, look at the sun and mars, in his chart look at moon venus. And that is just the start of things. Good luck.
Answer by Noelle
You need to have yours and your boyfriend’s complete birth charts done. Compatibility between two signs comes down to more than just Sun Signs. However, as far as I know, Sag and Capricorn are not an easy match. Sag is free spirited, hard to control, and not one for schedules and rules. Capricorn is just the opposite.

Usually good, it honestly depends on a lot of other things though. Like your moon signs and rising signs…and signs in all the planets…north node..etc.
You can get a free birth chart here : http://www.0800-horoscope.com/birthchart.php
Thats the one I usually use, but another one that I love also is this one:
This one is easier to understand in a way, and it gives a more visual view. I kind of like it better.
At this site from this birth chart you can identify your north node (you’ll find it on the birth chart wheel if you mouse over it and it will say north node) and you have to see what sign it is in. If you mouse over the certain signs it will say on the top of the birth wheel what it is. For example, my north node is in Scorpio.
Another great site, is this one: http://www.aquamoonlight.co.uk/nodes.html
If you have already found out your North node from the interactive birth chart wheel then you can go here and scroll down to see what should be developed in your life and what should be left behind. That is what North Node represents….what you should develop….now every north node is in a pair with a South Node…and the south node is on the exact opposite side of the north node on the astrological wheel. Pretty much the exact oppisite sign. So if your north node is in Saggitaurus then your south node is in gemini…and vice versa…there are 12 different north/south node pairs. So after you find out your north node you can look at the chart and see also what your south node is and what you should accomplish.
I also recommend searching on google your north-south node pair, and there are some very interesting articles and websites that explain in-depth your life’s path according to your nodes.
There’s also this website http://www.0800-horoscope.com/compatibility.php and you can see the compatibility of you and your partner from your birthdates alone =] It may be easier, but if you are more interested in the in-depth astrology I would suggest researching more into both of you and your partners birth chart’s signs and what-nots.=)
Soooo you see, there is a lot to astrology…more than the Sun signs…I suggest you check it out, and find out what your other signs in your planets are. The three most important signs though are your Moon, Sun, and Rising signs. Everything really depends on your whole birth chart data.
Hope this helps!! =)
