Astrology is not your daily horoscope. How could 1/12th of the world’s population have the same fate as you? Real Astrology is so much more. Your personality has a bit of every sign and every planet, in a blend of elements unique to you.

It’s not the best way to decide what to do today. Regardless of what your astrologer or horoscope may say, your choices will ideally be based on your own inner voice, your higher self – the voice of reason and clarity. Whatever you may learn from a Transit or other predictive reading will hopefully give you insights into trends and possibilities in your future, with a focus on opportunities and feelings – not specific events. The intention will hopefully be to help you accept and prepare for your challenges.

Astrology is not a religion, nor does it make one irreligious to use astrology. God – whomever or whatever that means to you – created our universe ages ago, and gave people varying visions of spiritual meaning for existence in this universe. One of those visions grew into the art of Astrology – in all it’s many forms in various cultures. It is deeply ingrained in Eastern philosophies, and in the West it has been accepted more often than rejected by popular theology*. It is a living art, growing and changing with each new cosmic discovery.

Your Natal Chart is not a way to cop out on personality problems. Whatever difficult traits you may have are meant to challenge you to become a better, stronger, more spiritual person.

The Sun Sign is what most people know without a doubt. It is also (usually) the most obvious part of the personality. The Sun is the conscious self. It is the behavior one is most comfortable with. It is the every day, fair-weather self. But there is much more to you than your Sun Sign…. when emotions run high….

That’s when the Moon Sign comes out. We generally react in emotional situations according to the Moon Sign. This is the primal, subconscious self. You may even fantasize about behaving more like that sign, but it may not feel natural to you unless you’re filled with happiness or sadness or anger. The Moon Sign also comes out when you feel very safe – either by yourself or with people you trust. But what about…

The Rising Sign – This is the most difficult element of the chart to explain, but may be even more important than the Sun Sign. In a nutshell, it is the Higher Self. You came into this life with one of the 12 signs of the zodiac on the horizon. This sign represents your horizon – your aspirations, what you look for in the world, and what you want to reflect. It is not surprising that much of your outward appearance, or the way you present yourself to others is determined by the Rising Sign, (and also by any planets that were rising when you were born – the Sun, Moon and planets rule the Zodiac – so a person with Venus rising is much like a Libra or Taurus rising, and Moon rising is just like Cancer rising, etc.) We want to attract and bring into our lives that which we aspire to. A Libra rising person looks for beauty, equality and comfort – and his/her natural beauty and charm are helpful in bringing it. An Aries rising individual looks for excitement and new challenges. Her/his look of bold determination and fearlessness is conducive to finding it! The Rising Sign changes continually throughout the day – so Birth Time and Place are essential pieces of information in determining the Rising Sign.

Why is the Rising Sign so important? Once you discover why you have the particular Rising Sign you do, you will be on the road to realizing and sharing one of your most powerful gifts. It represents an important aspect of what you were born to work on perfecting in this life (it could take several lifetimes.) So, why does Scorpio Rising look for power, secrets and extreme emotions? Why does Aquarius Rising look for equality and brotherhood? Why does Sagittarius Rising look at the world with a wise, philosophical viewpoint?

Some of them do. It depends on the Aquarius man and what his other personal signs are like moon, rising, and especially Venus.

My stepdad’s an Aquarius and has been with my mom for 10+ years. Before that, he was married to the mother of his daughter but she screwed him over so he left. He’s always been in monogamous relationships. As an Aquarian female, I’ve always been the same way. As much as our sign is supposed to be about the future, there are a lot of us that are still old-fashioned when it comes to love and romance so don’t lose heart. It comes down to how mature and evolved the Aquarian is that you’re dealing with. I’ve come across a lot of immature ones that we’re “trying” to be players. When you find a good one you won’t have to do anything but be yourself in order to win him over. Good luck :)

No, they usually don’t settle down, but if they did I believe it would take more than a Cap to encourage them to settle down.

Some Aquarius men never settle down. They like to analyze a situation over before making a commitment or getting into a relationship with a woman. They like to live the the woman who they love instead of getting married to them. They enjoy their freedom and time to be alone by them selves every once in a while. They like some one who is independent and gives them their freedom, loyal, trusting, faithful, romantic and respectful.

NO. They don’t. I was engaged to one for FOUR YEARS. They give off the impression that they want to settle down… but that’s because they are afraid of being alone. So, they want SOMEONE in their lives… but their ALWAYS looking for their next conquest.
